4 People Displaced After Middletown House Fire
Middletown fire officials say the basement sustained moderate damage, while the rest of the house had smoke damage.
MIDDLETOWN, RI — A house fire in Middletown has left four people temporarily displaced, according to fire officials.
Fire officials said the fire started Wednesday night at a home on Summerfield Lane. According to fire officials, the flames started in the chimney and eventually spread to the basement. Fire officials said the basement sustained moderate damage, while the rest of the house had smoke damage.
No injuries were reported.
