Calling Hours for Sharon Gerlach Tuesday

Check out five things you should know about this week:

1. Calling hours for Sharon Gerlach, 58 of Middletown will be held at Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Gerlach died after she was struck by a pick-up truck on Bellevue Avenue. 
   
   
2. Salve Regina will host a book reading on Thursday at 6 p.m. Laura van den Berg’s will read from her book, The Isle of Youth, which was named an NPR Best Book of 2013. Read more here.  
    
3. The Revolving Door Restaurant, located at 509 Thames St. in Newport, opened its doors for the first time last week!  Drop in and say hello!
