Suspects Drain Vending Machines at Middletown Hotel

The Middletown Police Department needs help identifying the two men who emptied vending machine cash boxes using a key at Homewood Suites.

Middletown police are looking for two suspects who stole money from vending machines on each floor of the Homewood Suites hotel on West Main Road last month.

The department has just released images from hotel security cameras to solicit the public’s assistance.

Police said the culprits walked into the hotel on Nov. 13 at around 1:35 p.m. and took money from vending machines on each of the three floors with one using the key and putting the loot into a black backpack as the other stood watch in the hallway.
