NARRAGANSETT, RI — Three North Providence firefighters battled on Wheel of Fortune for bragging rights and to bring some prize money home.

Monday night saw Darrin Gallagher of Narragansett, Tim Stebenne, of Lincoln, and Missy Porter of Johnston compete. When all was said and done, Gallagher was the victor of the three, winning $20,000.

Stebenne finished with more than $12,000, while Porter won $7,000.

Gallagher had a chance to win more than $100,000, but came up short in the bonus round, when the phrase "Taking a whiff" was the answer.
