Register for Narragansett summer camp! Narragansett Parks and Recreation is now taking registrations for , which begins June 25. The cost is $135, and the camp typically runs into late August.

A good cause, no, make that great! The GFWC of South County will at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 11:45 a.m. today. Lunch will be served, followed by a short program, The Spirit of Giving. Sixth grade students at Broad Rock and Monsignor Clarke were asked to write essays about their favorite charities, and three winners will be chosen to receive $200 donations.

Mhhhhmmm! The Sassy Sisters of South County will at 2 p.m. at the Center today. Tea, cake and fun will be served up for free to area seniors.

  • The CRMC will hear an appeal about its previous decision restricting Matunuck from building buffers and what not. For more info, read Erin Tiernan’s story here.
  • The Narragansett Town Council, fresh off a 3.5 hour meeting Monday night, will host on the budget tonight, starting at 6:30 p.m.
  • The South Kingstown School Committee will host at 7 p.m. in the South Kingstown High School library.
  • The South Kingstown Planning Board will at 7 p.m. at town hall.

Bonding! What a great thing. The mother-daughter book club at Peace Dale Library will meet at 6:30 p.m. to discuss A Drowned Maiden’s Hair. Pre-registration is recommended, and for more info, click .
