Congrats students, part two! According to a news release, Wakefield’s Nicholas DeLuca and Michael Mangiante have been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2011 semester. Congrats guys!

Everything Zen, everything Zen – I think so. Bush might not approve, but today everything will be zen at . They will be holding a meditation from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. While is free, a donation is recommended for the All That Matters scholarship fund. (Who recommends it? Well, I do.)
“No, I’m a plant.” “A plant? I thought men like you were usually called a fruit.” – Clue. The University of Rhode Island Botanical Gardens will be holding its annual plant sale on May 4, May 5 and May 11. The sale goes on from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kingston campus greenhouses. What better way to celebrate Star Wars Day??? Each Friday, the Frosty Drew Observatory in Charlestown holds a free public observation night. You can head on over around 7:30 p.m., you know, when it gets dark out. For more info, click .
You will not be literally tasting stone and masonry work. Local caterers, wineries, breweries and restaurants will have spreads at the annual from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight. If you bought your tickets in advance, they were $30, but you can still go tonight via $35 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Towers.
Register for Narragansett or South Kingstown summer camp! Narragansett Parks and Recreation is now taking registrations for , which begins June 25. The cost is $135, and the camp typically runs into late August. South Kingstown is also , and to see their summer camp guide, go here.
“May the force be with you.” – good stuff. As I’ve been alluding to throughout this post, and uh, as the headline suggests, today is Star Wars Day. Spike TV, which has the TV rights to Star Wars, is showing… Uh, well, Jurassic Park. So just go buy the DVDs, because George Lucas definitely hasn’t made enough yet.
