5 THINGS: Mini-Golf, Strings and Winds

Here are the (more than) Five Things for Sunday, May 12, 2013:

Teach mom a very valuable skill. There is free mini-golf at Adventureland from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for moms.

Spend a classy afternoon with mom. The Musica Dolce string quartet is playing at the Towers at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20.

They’re not shooting the breeze – ha ha ha, get it, because they’re the wind ensemble? The University of Rhode Island Alumni Wind Ensemble plays at 3 p.m. at the Fine Arts Center in Kingston. The concert is free.

Get rid of all that stress and tension <3 There will be a free meditation session in Wickford at 7 p.m. And while it is free, there is a suggested donation of $5.

Warning: Rain in the forecast! At least as of Sunday morning, showers and thunderstorms are possible for today. Please plan appropriately when you venture out!

Mmm, delicious vegetables and produce! Goose Pond Farm of West Kingston is offering community supported agriculture accounts from this season to Dec. 31. For more info, click here.
