It’s storytime AGAIN! Just like yesterday, those fine folks at offer a story time for the younger folks. Today’s recommended ages are 2 and 3. The starts at 10:30 a.m. and runs until 11:15 a.m., but if you’re a first-timer, registration is required.

- Boys’ basketball (8-8, 6-6 Division II-South) beat Pilgrim (3-14, 2-10 Division II-East) 61-49 on Tuesday. The Mariners are currently seeded 24th for the state tournament, with 4.8 seeding points. Five teams are bunched between 5 and 5.6 points, from 17th to 21st. A win would give Narragansett 5.6 points.
- Girls’ basketball suffered its first Division II loss at Rogers High School on Tuesday, falling 50-34. The Mariners are now tied with the Vikings in the loss column – Rogers is 11-1 in Division II, a half-game ahead of Narragansett, which is 10-1.
- The cheerleading team posted a score of 65.0 at Monday’s meet at Portsmouth High School. The score was fifth of eight teams at the meet, and did not improve on the Mariners’ score of 66.0 at the first meet.
- Wrestling (8-7, 8-4 Division II-South) traveled to East Greenwich (2-10, 2-10 Division II-South) and beat the Avengers 54-30 on Wednesday night.
- Results for the girls’ swimming meet with Mount St. Charles at the Woonsocket YMCA were unavailable.
There are games today as well! Today, wrestling is the only home team, hosting Mount Pleasant at 7 p.m. Boys’ basketball plays at Rogers (14-3, 11-1 Division II-East). At 5:30 p.m., the girls’ ice hockey team (5-7-1, 5-7 DeCosta Division) plays the Cranston co-op (4-5-1, 4-5-1 DeCosta Division) at the Levy Rink. And starting at 5 p.m. at the Providence Career and Technical Academy, the boys’ indoor track team will compete at the Metropolitan Division championship.
