Not to be confused with punt, pass and kick, because that’s a whole other sport. South Kingstown Parks and Recreation is hosting its annual baseball competition for residents aged 7 to 14. The fun starts at 8:30 a.m. at Tuckertown Park, and goes on until about 11:15 a.m. This was rescheduled from last weekend.

Fast times with, uh, books. To kickoff Children’s Book Week, Maury Loontjens Memorial Library in Narragansett will be hosting a Gruffalo party today at 11 a.m. Pre-registering is required, so if you are going to go last minute, give them a call.
