It's back to school, and back to the town council meeting grind.

Here are the (more than) Five Things for Monday, April 23, 2012:
It's a celebration for West Kingston! Today will feature the re-dedication of the outdoor classroom at West Kingston Elementary School. The Ann Perkins Outdoor Classroom was recently refurbished by South Kingstown High School senior Douglas Arnold. The ceremony is at 1:45 p.m., and it is open to members of the public. Counseling for councils. The Narragansett Town Council and the South Kingstown Town Council both having meetings tonight. Narragansett meets at 7:30 p.m. at . South Kingstown meets at their town hall at 6:45 p.m. for a work session, following by the regular meeting. Both council meetings should have plenty of budget talk. The South Kingstown Housing Authority also meets Monday, at 5 p.m.

Register for Narragansett summer camp! Narragansett Parks and Recreation is now taking registrations for , which begins June 25. The cost is $135, and the camp typically runs into late August.
A day late for the younger kids. Not that you could have done much during portions of the monsoon yesterday, but there is an Earth Day celebration for preschool aged kids at 11 a.m. at the Tri-Pond Nature Center. For more info, click . Admission is $9.
