Narragansett: Did You Feel The 5.9 Virginia Earthquake?
The 5.9 magnitude earthquake shortly before 2 p.m. today could be felt along much of the East Coast. Did you feel any swaying today?

Buildings are being evacuated in New York City and people across the eastern seaboard felt the ground sway under their feet today after a 5.9 magnitude earthquake in Virginia.
The earthquake was first reported as a 5.8 magnitude quake. Reuters is reporting the earthquake was a 6.0, but according to the United States Geological Society, the quake registered 5.9 with an epicenter 4 miles southwest of Mineral, Va. and 83 miles from Washington D.C.
I was in the quiet study room of the Narragansett library when the quake happened, and honestly, I didn't notice anything. However, I did have my headphones on, lost in my own world of David Bowie... So, that might explain it.
