Baby Born After Route 4 Crash Dies; Memorial at URI Tonight

The baby born prematurely after the crash that ended up killing his mother, Sully Sanchez, was two weeks old.

The family of Sullynette Sanchez, the 23-year-old pregnant woman who was killed in a fatal accident on Route 4 two weeks ago, told NBC 10 on Tuesday the baby who was born after the crash has died.

Two-week-old Daryel Sanchez died Tuesday morning at Women and Infants Hospital, family members said.

He was born by C-section at Kent Hospital after the Sept. 28 three-car crash that took his mother's life, then transferred to the intensive care unit at Women and Infants Hospital.
