Best Sandwich – Island Deli

Thanks to Twitter accounts, is this week’s Readers’ Choice winner for Best Sandwich.

The actual were close, with all four choices – Island Deli, , the and others (, 590 Catering, Ma and Pa) – each picking up between 12 and 19 votes each. So, I went to comments and ratings for the tiebreaker.

On Twitter, I got several comments specifically for the Wicked Willow sandwich at Island Deli. The menu describes it as:

“So good we put it on the menu twice... Willow Tree chicken salad, applewood smoked bacon, fresh tomato and Muenster cheese melting out of a pressed wrap...Wicked Good 6.99.”

… Since it’s about 12:30 p.m. and I haven’t eaten, I’m now regretting doing this article now.
