Camp Hoffman Beach In South Kingstown Reopens For Swimming
The South Kingstown beach had closed for swimming Thursday over its bacteria levels in the water.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Camp Hoffman Beach in Kingston can reopen for swimming Tuesday, following a closure due to high bacteria levels, officials with the Rhode Island Department of Health said.
State health officials said bacteria levels returned to safe levels. The beach was closed for swimming Thursday over its bacteria levels in the water.
RIDOH officials said they will continue to monitor and review beach water quality regularly to ensure safe bathing throughout summer.
