Country Music Star Billy Currington Coming to Ryan Center

KINGSTON, RI—Grammy nominee Billy Currington is coming to the Ryan Center on the University of Rhode Island campus for a live show in March.

Platinum-selling, Grammy, ACM and CMA nominated artist Billy Currington will hit the road on his headlining Summer Forever tour beginning in February 2016, including a Saturday, March 26 show at the Ryan Center on the campus of the University of Rhode Island. Currington released his sixth studio album, Summer Forever, on Mercury Nashville in June 2015 and joined Tim McGraw on his Shotgun Rider Tour this past summer. The first single off of Summer Forever, “Don’t It,” climbed to number 1 on the country airplay charts, marking his tenth #1 single, and became an anthem of summer 2015.

Over the course of his career, Currington has celebrated ten No. 1 hits, platinum-selling albums and ACM, CMA and GRAMMY nominations.
