The open house is being held at Narragansett Elementary School. In the coming weeks, Deepwater Wind will be doing enivornmental surveys along the following public roads:

  • NARRAGANSETT: Gazebo Park, Beach Street, Narragansett Avenue, Wanda Street, Strathmore Road, Kingstown Road and Mumford Road.
  • SOUTH KINGSTOWN: East Narragansett Avenue, Route 1 between Narragansett Avenue and Old Tower Hill Road, Kelley Way and Albro Lane.

According to Deepwater Wind, the project will provide for most of Block Island's electricity needs, with surplus power going from the transmission line to the mainland. For a project overview, click here.
