EVENT OF THE DAY: High School PTO Meets Tonight

The Narragansett High School Parent Teacher Organization will be holding its first meeting of the 2011-12 school year tonight, 7 p.m. in the high school’s media center.

Narragansett High School Principal Dan Warner and Superintendent Kathy Sipala are both scheduled to speak, and to answer any questions parents might have.

Other discussion items on the agenda for the first meeting include providing academic support to students, knowing the score about Power School and your student’s common tasks, dealing with social challenges faced by your children, college entrance support, and ways to recognize your child’s achievement.
