Fire on Ninigret Road Displaces 3 Residents
According to the Red Cross and multiple media reports, the fire took place in the early morning hours Saturday.

The American Red Cross is helping three Narragansett residents after a fire Saturday morning at 104 Ninigret Road in Narragansett.
The fire destroyed the structure, as Narragansett fire crews worked throughout the morning to extinguish the fire. The Red Cross is providing temporary lodging and financial assistance for emergency clothing and food needs.
According to online town property records, the property is owned by Jessica H. Spearman of West Kingston. The house, built in 1972, was most recently assessed at $146,500. The total value of the property is $257,100.

The Red Cross is also providing comfort kits, containing age and gender appropriate personal care items such as toothbrushes, deodorant, shaving supplies and other items a family might not have been able to gather in the rush to escape the fire. Children's kits include a stuffed toy.
