Free Shuttle Offered on Weekends, Holidays
According to Town Manager Grady Miller, the shuttle is one of Narragansett's best kept secrets.

Late last summer, local residents and visitors started to discover the ease of using The Narragansett Pier Shuttle Service when visiting the Narragansett Town Beach and Pier area. With ample stress-free parking, key shuttle stops and a frequent 30-minute loop, the Narragansett Pier Area Shuttle is once again ready to service the public.
Rather than parking on neighborhood streets or along the Sea Wall and lugging gear, now people can park at the Narragansett Elementary School, hop the shuttle and be at the beach or at their favorite restaurant or shopping spot. While parking only costs $5, the shuttle is free to everyone who rides it during the weekends.
The shuttle stops at the South Beach Pavilion at the Town Beach, the North Beach Pavilion, The Towers, South Pier Road and Ocean Road (at the end of the Sea Wall), Boon Street (at Leroy Thompson Park) and the Pier Market Village (at Kingstown Road) prior to returning to the Elementary School to complete the loop.

Anyone can ride The Narragansett Pier Area Shuttle for free, allowing visitors to easily move around the Pier Area. Beach goers who park in the traditional parking lots, for example, can jump on the Pier Shuttle and head to Monahan’s Dock, Boon Street or the Pier Marketplace for a bite to eat, to see some great art or to shop.
The Narragansett Pier Area Shuttle runs weekends and holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The first shuttle leaves at 9 a.m. from the Elementary School on 55 Mumford Road and the last shuttle leaves the North beach at 6:30 p.m. Look for the green and white bus and signs marked Shuttle Stops to enjoy this great service.
