Glenna M. Giordano, CCRI Professor Emeritus, Dies Sunday

Glenna M. Giordano (Viweg) of Narragansett, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Louis Giordano. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George and Flora (Paruca) Viweg. 

Glenna worked as a Registered Nurse, graduating from the Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing. She also was a Professor Emeritus at the Community College of R.I.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Alicia Roberts and her companion Michael Sosnowski of Wakefield; her cherished grandchildren Annika and Elias; her son Jared Giordano of West Warwick.

Relatives and friends attend her funeral service on Thursday in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Smithfield followed by a burial in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 54 Cedar Swamp Road, Smithfield, R.I. 02917.
