Group Wants To Wave Goodbye to Breast Cancer

An event will be held at Narragansett Town Beach to raise awareness for the Rhode Island Breast Cancer Coalition's goal.

The Rhode Island Breast Cancer Coalition wants you to join it in helping to “wave” goodbye to breast cancer.

On Sunday, April 22, the group will be hosting a wave mob at Narragansett Town Beach at noon. There will be an aerial photograph taken, with the goal of spelling out “2020” from the air with blue shirts.

It is part of the National Breast Cancer Coalition’s deadline for curing breast cancer. Ideally, the coalition wants to see all breast cancer eradicated by 2020, and hopes that setting a firm deadline makes it happen.
