Letter: More Support for Proposed NBX Move
A Narragansett businessman offers his support for NBX's proposed move.

To the editor,
NBX Bikes is hoping to move from 1153 Boston Neck Road to 922 Boston Neck Road. I am in favor of this move.
The residential space that NBX hopes to move to has not only been on the market
for some time, but is in need of much improvement and/or repair. Matt Bodziony, the owner of NBX Bikes, is a reputable community member with an expanding business who wants to stay in Narragansett.

With the other surrounding businesses in the vicinity of 922 Boston Neck Road, NBX would be a welcome addition. Some of these other businesses include Brickley's Ice Cream and Bayscape Nurseries across the street, and a Subway shop, a hair salon, and other businesses on the same side of the street.
If traffic should be a concern, a cross walk could easily be painted on the road and/or "pedestrian X-ing" sign(s) perhaps added for safety.

As a lifetime Narragansett resident and a local businessman, I'm in full support of re-zoning 922 Boston Neck Road from residential to commercial.
Sincerely,
John Timpson, Timpson Excavating Inc.
