LETTER: Odeum Says Thanks To Gansett's Martone Painting

The contractor's work at the Main Street theater has helped it come closer to opening.

To the editor:

The is getting ready to reopen after a sustained effort to come into compliance with our new state fire codes.

A critical enabler to this effort has been the support we have received from both residents and businesses within the community. We clearly appreciate all of the volunteer help we’ve received from board members, other volunteers, and the financial support we’re receiving from so many individuals and businesses buying seats and attending our fundraisers.

We’re also grateful to many of the vendors for working with us and, in some cases, providing exceptional pricing – and outstanding workmanship – that is getting us closer to reopening. Toward that end, we would like to thank and recognize Martone Painting Co. of Narragansett for their fine efforts and cooperation in restoring and painting the theater walls, ceiling, and trim, and preparing and installing a new epoxy floor in the theater in preparation for the arrival of our seats. Their willingness to work with us on this project is truly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Frank Prosnitz, President, Odeum Board of Directors
