Man Charged for String of SK Break-Ins over Three Months

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI-South Kingstown police last week arrested a 37-year-old man for a series of break-ins and thefts that happened over three months.

Police said Patrick Fitzgerald broke into houses on Bean Farm Road, Willard Avenue and South Road in September, November and December, stealing jewelry, computers, cameras and other items.

Fitzgerald was arraigned and held on $3,000 surety bail after his Wednesday arrest and is due to return to court on Feb. 6.

At the time of his arrest, Fitzgerald was free on personal recognizance after being charged by New Shoreham police with possession of narcotics with intent to deliver and driving with a suspended license.
