Narragansett Looking For Land Conservancy Trust Volunteers

The Town of Narragansett is seeking community spirited volunteers to serve on the Narragansett Land Conservancy Trust. The Narragansett Land Conservancy Trust strives to protect open space, farmland, scenic vistas, wetlands, and other critical habitats in an effort to preserve land for future public recreational and educational use and maintain access to coastal waters. The Land Conservancy Trust is a nine member Town advisory body comprised of two (2) members of the Town Council, one (1) representative from the Conservation Commission, one (1) representative from the Planning Board, and five (5) members of the public appointed in three-year terms. Meetings for the Land Conservancy Trust are held on the third Thursday of the month at 5:30 PM.
