According to police, while talking with Holdredge, they could smell alcohol. When asked if she had been drinking, she told police, “I ain’t gonna lie officer, I have.” She told police she had been at Charlie O’s, a friend’s house and now was heading home.

The passenger in Holdredge’s car also was unable to drive, so it was towed from the scene. The passenger was given a ride home by police.

Narragansett Man Charged With Domestic Offenses

Seamus J. Martin, 30, of 85 Old Pine Road, Narragansett, was arrested at about 8:25 p.m. on April 9 and charged with domestic trespassing, domestic disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Police said when they arrived on scene, Martin was sitting on a deck, and his left hand was bloody. When asked how he got the injury, Martin told them, “I punched something.”

According to police, Martin appeared to be intoxicated. Police said he had to be asked several times to come off the deck, and then tried to escape from an officer’s grasp when he was being arrested.

According to the two witnesses, Martin had shown up to the home, intoxicated, and refused to leave. The two told police that he was banging on the doors and the side of the home. Police said they found blood on the home to corroborate their story.
