Del’s Stand Spot Leads to Dispute
At about 2:58 p.m. on Aug. 13, police received a report from a 55-year-old Harmony, RI woman of a Del’s Lemonade cart on her property.
According to police, the woman showed them property maps showed that she owned property near the sidewalk intersection of Congdon Street and Ocean Street.

Police said they spoke to the clerk, an 18-year-old woman from Wakefield, and her manager, a 53-year-old Narragansett resident. The cart was moved without incident, and the manager said they would use other streets. Police noted that he did have an up-to-date peddler’s license, and the cart itself was on a public right of way.
