Man Charged with Trespassing

Edward L. Kenney, 60, who has a last known address of 1315 Gilbert Stuart Road, North Kingstown, was arrested at about 4:12 p.m. on Aug. 8 on a charge of willful trespass.

According to police, a resident of the home on Baltimore Avenue called and told them that Kenney had returned. Police said that he has a history of violating a no-trespass order because of his drinking.

Police noted that Kenney, who was found walking on Baltimore Avenue, also appeared to be intoxicated on Aug. 8. He was arrested without incident and given a court date of Aug. 23.

Narragansett Man Arrested for Westerly Warrant

Kevin Paul Brown, 36, of 76 Avice St., Narragansett, was arrested at about 5:46 p.m. on a Fourth Division District Court warrant. According to police, the warrant was issued after Brown did not appear at a court hearing stemming from an assault in Westerly.

An officer patrolling traffic on Mumford Road ran a check on a car, which revealed that the owner, Brown, had a warrant out for his arrest. The officer lost track of the car in traffic, but later found it on Avice Street.

A background check of the driver confirmed his identity as Brown, and he was arrested and transported to police headquarters. After an in-station arraignment, he was released at 8:55 p.m.
