Johnston Woman Arrested for Bad Checks
Donna M. Parrillo, 44, of 37 Capitol St., Johnston, was arrested at about 4:13 p.m. on July 18 on a charge of issuing bad checks.

According to Narraganstt police reports, Parrillo was arrested by Scituate Police and transported to Narragansett Police Headquarters because of a warrant for the bad checks. She was issued a Fourth Division District Court date of Aug. 2.
Tire Slashed on Stanton Avenue

At about 9:12 a.m. on July 19, police received a report of a slashed car tire on Stanton Avenue.
According to a 63-year-old Narragansett man, when he came out to his car in the morning, he discovered that the front driver's side tire had been slashed. He told police that the previous night, he saw two suspicious male teenagers by his car at around 8:30 p.m.
Police filed his report for informational purposes. An arrest has not been made.
