Narragansett Police Log: March 25, 26, 27 and 28, 2012
It's a relatively quiet four days for Narragansett police, as they only respond to a pair of criminal incidents.

Johnston Man Charged With Domestic Vandalism, Disorderly Conduct
Michael Pacheco Martins, 31, of 16 Apple Tree Lane, Johnston, was arrested at about 4:50 p.m. on March 25 and charged with domestic vandalism and domestic disorderly conduct.

According to police, a 30-year-old Narragansett woman told them that after dropping off their child following a visitation, Martins became upset and kicked the glass in on her front door while leaving.
Martins told police that the woman had punched his left arm after he told her he didn’t have any money for her. Martins said that she then threw him out of the house and slammed the door in his face.

Police said the evidence at the scene of the woman’s home supported her account, and Martins was arrested.
North Providence Woman Charged with Suspended License Violation
Juliette A. Patita, 26, of 37 Volturno St., North Providence, was cited at about 1:22 a.m. on March 28 and charged with driving with a suspended license.
According to police, an officer patrolling on Point Judith Road clocked a gray Honda Civic at 52 miles per hour in a 30 mile per hour zone. A traffic stop was made near Old Point Judith Road.
A background check of the driver – Patita – revealed that her license had been suspended for failing to appear at a court hearing. She was cited for that, and also for speeding.
A passenger in the car with a valid driver’s license was allowed to drive it from the scene.
