Narragansett Police Log: October 19, 20 and 21, 2011
A Wakefield man is arrested on a warrant for a child support hearing, and a man named Weiner gets cited for public urination.

Wakefield Man Arrested on Warrant for Child Support
Dean C. Philbrick Jr., 25, of 50 Harcourt Ave., Wakefield, was arrested at about 12:25 a.m. on Oct. 19 on a warrant was for failure to appear at a hearing related to child support.

According to police, an officer patrolling on Kingstown Road saw a motorcycle speeding toward Memorial Square. Police eventually located the motorcycle at Turtle Soup.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 46-year-old Wakefield man, was cited for driving through a stop sign. A background check revealed that the passenger, Philbrick, had a warrant out for his arrest. He was arrested without incident.

URI Student Cited for Underage Alcohol Possession
Timothy A. Johnson, 19, of 30 Jamestown Boulevard, was cited at about 12:26 a.m. on Oct. 21 and charged with possession of alcohol by a minor. Police said he is a University of Rhode Island student.
According to police, an officer observing the closing of a bar on Ocean Road saw Johnson walking through the parking lot with a can of Narragansett beer in his hand. A background check revealed that he was only 19, and he was cited.
Weiner Cited for Public Urination
David A. Weiner, 21, of 37 Wagner Road, Westerly, was cited at about 1:10 a.m. on Oct. 20 and charged with public urination.
According to police, while observing the nightly closing of a bar in Galilee, they saw Weiner standing behind a car in the breakdown lane. Police said he was urinating.
Police told him to stop, which he did, and then issued him a citation for public urination. According to police, he was about 10 feet away from the exit of the building.
