Police break up one party, and deal with several other minor incidents.

Narragansett Woman Turns Self in on South Kingstown Check Forgery Chargers
According to , Brittney Sumpter, 23, of 130 Mettatuxet Road, Narragansett, turned herself in to South Kingstown Police Headquarters on Oct. 11 about about 9:31 a.m.

Sumpter was charged with four counts of felony check forgery. She was processed and alter transported to Fourth District Court for an arraignments.

Block Island Man Cited for Suspended License
David J. Flamand, 28, of 1 Center Road, Apt. #1636, New Shoreham, was cited at about 8 a.m. on Oct. 12 and charged with driving with a suspended license.
According to police, a car driven by Flamand on Point Judith Road was pulled over for a loud exhaust. A background check revealed that his license was suspended.
Flamand was cited for the license, and issued a warning for the loud exhaust. A 25-year-old Warwick woman with a valid license was allowed to drive the car from the scene.
Coast Guard, Police Arrest Man for SK Warrant for Suspended License
Scott W. Babcock, 27, of 31A Middle Road, Narragansett, was arrested for a Fourth Division District Court warrant at about 11:40 p.m. on Oct. 12. According to police, the warrant stems from a South Kingstown police charge of driving with a suspended license.
Police said they were called to Great Island by the Coast Guard. According to the Coast Guard, they did an ID check on Babcock, which revealed the warrant.
Babcock was held without incident at police headquarters until he was picked up by South Kingstown police.
Loud Party Broken Up on Greenbrier Road
At about 12:42 a.m. on Oct. 10, police received a report of a loud party at 46 Greenbrier Road.
According to police, about 40 people were gathered in the house and the front yard. One car was cited for illegal parking. Police said the party was cleared without incident.
The renter was identified as 19-year-old Jeffrey R. Booth. The home is owned by Kathleen Hammill.

Police reported no arrests on Oct. 11, which is General Pulaski Memorial Day in the United States.
