Narragansett Police Log: September 30, 2011
According to police, a rabbit is reported missing, and a sticker is placed at the site of a "gathering," not a party.

Missing: Snowball The Pet Rabbit
According to police, a 27-year-old man on Courtland Drive reported at about 4:50 p.m. on Sept. 30 that his pet rabbit had been stolen.

The man said that he had left his home at about 2 p.m. in order to do some errands. When he returned, the rabbit was missing from its cage.
The man told police that his girlfriend had heard some boys, who she estimated to be about middle school age, talking about stealing the rabbit. However, he couldn’t provide a description of the boys.

The rabbit was described as about five pounds, mostly white, with a few grey patches. Police said a search of the area was negative for the rabbit.
Pawtucket Man Arrested for Warrant, Suspended License
Nial M. Egan, 36, of 102 Coyle Ave., Second Floor Apartment, Pawtucket, was arrested at about 7:43 p.m. on Sept. 30 and charged with driving with a suspended license.
According to police, an officer patrolling on Point Judith Road saw a white Lexus pass him without any headlights on. A traffic stop was made near Sunset Road.
Police said a background check revealed that Egan’s license was suspended. There was also a warrant out for his arrest for not appearing at a Superior Court hearing for a drug possession case.
Egan was transported to the ACI later that night as a result. A family member was allowed to drive the car from the scene.
Sticker Placed at 27 Caswell St.
According to police, they received a report of a loud party at 27 Caswell St. at about 12:21 a.m. on Sept. 30.
Police said about 40 to 50 people were gathered at the house, with yelling and screaming heard from outside. Police noted that red Solo cups and empty beer bottles littered the surrounding yards.
According to police, it took a while to break-up the party. When they asked the four tenants home to sign the nuisance form afterward, all four refused. Police said they told them it was “bull****” and that they were having a gathering, not a party.
Police said that after a review of the incident, a sticker was served to the tenants at about 8:35 a.m. on Sept. 30. The tenants were identified as Kenny G. Jimenez, 22, and 20-year-olds Christopher Morrison, John P. Riberio and Aaron M. Cronk. The realty company was listed at Lila Delman.
Students Cited for Underage Possession of Alcohol
- Luke M. Reynolds, 20, of Ellery Hall at the University of Rhode Island, was cited at about 12:40 a.m. on Sept. 30 and charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.
According to police, after clearing a loud party at 27 Caswell St., they heard loud voices coming from the intersection of Caswell and Kingstown Road.
Police said they saw Reynolds walking away from the gathering of people at the intersection with a backpack. When they asked him what was in it, he told them beer.
According to police, a background check revealed that he was just 20, and he was cited for possession of alcohol by a minor. Four 12-ounce cans of Bud Light were confiscated.
- Matthew Odess, 18, of 3 Spinnaker Court, Barrington, was cited at about 11:24 p.m. on Sept. 30 and charged with possession of alcohol by a minor. Police said Odess is a student at the Community College of Rhode Island.
According to police, they received a complaint of a party on Sakonnet Boulevard. Police said that there didn’t appear to be a party when they responded, but noted heavy foot traffic in the area.
Odess was noted in the area, carrying a 12-ounce can of Budweiser. A background check revealed that he was just 18. Police also confiscated an unopened can of Keystone Light in his back pocket.
- Patrick B. Gannon, 20, of 03 Camden Road, Narragansett, was cited at about 11:41 p.m. and charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.
According to police, an officer on patrol saw Gannon standing at the edge of a lawn on Summit Road with a can of Bud Light beer in his hand. A background check revealed that he was underage.
Police said Gannon was also carrying a backpack. A search of it revealed five more cans of Bud Light and an open bottle of Jagermeister. All of the alcohol was confiscated.
- Nicholas M. Leandro, 20, of 25 Lincoln Way, Narragansett, was cited at about 1:23 a.m. on Oct. 1 and charged with disorderly conduct and possession of alcohol by a minor. Police said he is a University of Rhode Island student.
According to police, they saw Leandro walking in Eastward Look at about 11:40 p.m. on Sept. 30 with a bottle of Sam Adams in his hand. A background check revealed that he was not yet 21, and he was cited.
Police said he was arrested about 10 minutes later and charged with disorderly conduct. However, details of this arrest were not available.
Transportation of Alcohol by Minors
- Brian E. Skorupski, 20, of 79 Hilltop Drive, Charlestown, was cited at about 8:39 p.m. and charged with transportation of alcohol by a minor.
According to police, a car driven by Skorupski pulled into the parking lot of a liquor store on Boston Neck Road. A woman got out of the passenger’s seat, bought alcohol in the store, and then got back in the passenger’s seat to leave.
Police said they saw the car go into Bonnet Shores for a bit. A traffic stop was made when it left Bonnet Shores, as police noted the driver was now alone. According to police, the car was also traveling at 35 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone on Boston Neck Road.
When questioned by police, Skorupski told them that he had been picking up some alcohol for a friend. Police confiscated a 30-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon and a 40-ounce bottle of Olde English malt liquor.
- John D. Levesque, 20, of 48 Pine Glen Drive, North Kingstown, was cited at about 9 p.m. and charged with transportation of alcohol by a minor.
According to police, an officer spotted a passenger that appeared to be buying alcohol for a car of three other people at a liquor store on Point Judith Road. Police made a traffic stop after clocking the car at 40 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone on South Pier Road.
Police confiscated a bottle of Jose Cuervo tequila, a bottle of Bacardi flavored rum, and a 12-pack of Coors Light.
