Narragansett Resident Charged With Dealing Prescription Drugs

Police said that a search warrant for Andrew Paliotti's home turned up multiple types of prescription drugs.

According to Narragansett police, a resident has been arrested on felony charges of distribution of prescription medications.

In a press release issued by Narragansett Police Lt. Sean Corrigan, he said officers arrested Andrew Paliotti, 22, of 2 Pepperbush Trail at about 7:20 a.m. on Sept. 9. The arrest was made after police executed a search warrant.

Police said that a search of Paliotti’s apartment revealed Oxycontin, Adderall, Ritalin and a small amount of marijuana. Police noted that Paliotti also had a written ledger and packaging materials.

As a result, police said Paliotti was charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance with an intent to deliver, and possession of marijuana.

Also, police said that a 19-year-old roommate, Jack Stefano, was also charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

According to police, Paliotti was arraigned in Fourth Division District Court before Judge Mary McCaffery and not given bail. He was transported to the ACI, with a status conference scheduled for Sept. 14. Stefano was released on $10,000 personal recognizance and issued a felony screening date of Oct. 18.

Last month, Narragansett police arrested Jillian M. Paliotti, 27, of Kingston on . It is not known if the cases are related.

According to online court records, Paliotti and Stefano have either not been arrested before, or have had any resulting court cases expunged from their records.
