She’s a single mother of two children, so as a result, she’s worked a variety of jobs – at one point, four at once, and six days a week. Before opening her own shop, she was an executive administrator for an office at the University of Rhode Island.

The work is by appointment only, and Rachel does all of the work herself at the private studio.
“There’s no other artists, just me, doing my art in my studio,” she said. “My medium just happens to be skin! It’s an artist’s dream.”
Using her own fine art background and imagination as support, she never does the same design twice, and she offers free consultations. She is fully licensed with the state.
