Obituary: Bonnie Jean Gardiner, 58

Bonnie Jean Gardiner, 58, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully at home Monday.

She was the beloved wife of John Gardiner for 28 years. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Parker) Laurie. She attended the Prout Scholl and was a CNA until she retired due to illness.

Besides her husband she is survived by three sisters, Valerie Hayes of Hope Valley, Brenda Ludvigsen of Wakefield, and Alice Stanciu of Wakefield; and a brother Joseph Laurie, Jr. of Kingston. She was the mother of the late Jonathan Laurie.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Friday in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston
