Obituary: Elizabeth A. O'Malley, 91

Elizabeth A. O’Malley, 91, of South Kingstown, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015. She was the wife of the late Austin P. O’Malley.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Cavanaugh) Porter. Mrs. O’Malley was a librarian at the Hazard School before retiring. She was the mother of Austin P. O’Malley Jr., Elizabeth A. Hathaway, Christine Czajkowski and Deb Cashmon; sister of the late Mary Cangio, Jane Votta, John Porter, Kae Pickersgill, and Rita Vaudrain; and grandmother of four.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Rd., Narragansett. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
