Pier School Class Wins Food Truck Lunch

Thanks to winning a naming competition, a Narragansett Pier School class gets free lunch from FanCheezical grilled cheese.

According to owner and chef Guy Scott Shaffer, it was one thing to get a full commercial kitchen going in a truck, but hey, he made it work.

The tougher thing? Naming his new business. That’s where the Pier School came in.

Evan McGreen, a member of Vanessa Miller’s seventh grade enrichment class at the Pier School, provided Shaffer with the winning name – FanCheezical. (In the group photo, he’s in the back row, with the black jacket unzipped under the “CH.”)
