Police Investigating Pettaquamscutt Break-In

According to Narragansett Police Det. Lt. Sean Corrigan, residents should make sure they lock their doors and report any suspicious activity.

A woman in the Pettaquamscutt Terrace neighborhood of town told police that on New Year’s Eve shortly before 9 p.m., she saw an intruder in her home.

According to a press release from Narragansett Police Det. Lt. Sean Corrigan, the woman told them that when she left her bathroom at 8:50 p.m., she saw an unknown man in her living room. He fled through the back door of the home.

The suspect is described as skinny, about 5’9”, with a light brown skin tone. His clothing was described as an oversized — black and puffy jacket, faded baggy jeans, a black knit ski mask and dark-colored knit gloves.

The woman also told police that the suspect had a thin, nylon duffel bag with two small handles and one long handle. His age was estimated between 19 and 25.
