Police To Plunge At Salty Brine Beach For Special Olympics

Two department members will plunge once an hour for 24 hours in efforts to raise money for the Special Olympics.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — You can help support the Special Olympics by attending the South Kingstown Police Department's second annual Super Plunge. The dinner and event is at Whalers Brewing Company in South Kingstown.

On Saturday, Feb. 23, the fun will feature a member of the police department plunging into the frigid waters at Salty Brine Beach every hour for 24 hours.

Tickets will be available at the door of Whalers Brewing Company, at 1174 Kingstown Rd., for the event at 7 p.m. They cost $25 each.
