RI Power Outages: Fewer Than 35,000 Households As Of 12:30 P.M.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI—National Grid has made more progress at restoring service, but thousands are still without power. Of the 34,000 plus impacted Wednesday at 12:30 p.m., North Kingstown (2,131) and South Kingstown (2, 279) were among the hardest hit. Coventry (2,194) was also still off the grid, while 884 in Bristol were still waiting.

National Grid said it expects to put most customers back on the grid today. However, some may wait until late Thursday night.
