RI Weather: Icy Commute Possible For Wednesday
Temperatures will plunge overnight turning any wet surfaces to ice, the National Weather Service said. Plus, expect very gusty winds.

CRANSTON, RI — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Tuesday night and Wednesday for all Rhode Island. The first issue is the cold. Given the rain on Tuesday, "it is likely that ice will develop along area roadways making for hazardous travel conditions through the Wednesday morning
commute," the weather service warns. The second issue is the wind. Some trees or tree limbs may come down.
Wednesday is supposed to be sunny. The downside? Expect a 20 degree temperature drop from Tuesday's high near 50. Wednesday's high will be around the 30s. Also, the wind will be whipping around. Not counting snow showers in the forecast, the next chance of snow comes Friday night. Here is the forecast from Taunton, Mass.
