RIRRC to Collect Hazard Waste at Central Landfill
You can drop-off a variety of household waste in early July at the Central Landfill.

On Saturday, July 9, the Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation will host a household hazardous waste and electronic waste collection at the Central Landfill, 65 Shun Pike in Johnston.
Waste will be accepted from 8 a.m. until noon. Appointments are necessary only if dropping off household hazardous waste.
In Rhode Island, household hazardous waste and e-waste cannot be combined with trash or recyclables. Because of their toxicity and potential to pollute the environment, these products need to be collected and recycled by special waste handlers.
