SK’s Pratt Awarded for Work at PC
South Kingstown's Erin Marie Pratt has been honored for her dedication to community service while studying at Providence College.

Erin Marie Pratt, a resident of South Kingstown and 2012 graduate of Providence College, was recently honored for her academic achievements.
Pratt received the Reverend Vincent C. Dore, O.P. Award for her dedication to community service, especially in working with young people.
Dore is a member of the Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame. He was a Dominican educator who served at Rhode Island College as Athletic Director, Treasurer, Dean of Studies, Dean of Faculty, President and Chancellor. A social scientist by training, he served on many municipal and state boards and commissions, concentrating on problems of labor and economics.

Providence College is the only college or university in the United States administered by the Dominican Friars. The Catholic, liberal arts college has an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 3,900 students and offers degrees in 49 academic majors.
