South County Chamber Orchestra Playing at St. Peter's Sunday

Under the direction of Dr. Brian Cardany, the South County Chamber Orchestra and the South Kingstown Summer Strings Orchestra will be performing works of Tchaikovsky, Dvorak and Schubert Sunday afternoon at .

The prelude concert starts at 3 p.m.  followed by the formal concert at 4 p.m. It is free admission, and a reception will follow the concert. The concert is indoors, so it'll go on despite a rainy forecast for Sunday.

Among the players is Emily Chen, a South Kingstown High School graduate. Chen also teaches strings at Narragansett Elementary School and the Narragansett Pier School.
