Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?
Alexa is a freshman at South Kingstown High School. This year, Alexa went undefeated throughout the season at the #1 position. She also won 1st place in her entire Division 2. Recently, she went all the way through the State Championships and played the #1 High School Girl in the entire state of Rhode Island, a Senior who plays for A private school named Moses Brown. The battled 3 sets only to have Alexa come up short to the #1 senior in the state. She is definitely on the radar with all the top schools in the state, knowing she will be the very best next year and for the next 3 years to come. The future is very wide open for opportunities in the future, hopefully to great Division #1 Colleges and even possibilities to have an opportunity to go professional at one point.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?
Alexa is a caring young girl who just turned 14 years old and has a definite passion for the sport of tennis. She donates her time locally teaching the young kids on how to play the sport and wants to make it an opportunity for young boys and girls to have a chance to play this sport that they may not normally choose to play. She has a passion for the sport that is incredible for a young 14-year-old girl.
Keep up the great work, Alexa Clark!
