There Are Tons of Things Going On This Weekend
Art festival, an air show preview, other events… Plenty of opportunity to get out!

Looking for something to do this weekend? As long as the weather holds out, you have plenty of options without having to leave Narragansett.
The events start at 3 p.m. on Friday. ColinsLaw.org, an advocacy group for safer roads via removing drivers with frequent moving violations, is hosting several events.
According to a release from the organization, it was founded last year by the Foote family in honor of their son, Colin, who was killed last May by a habitual traffic offender. ColinsLaw.Org is focused on “making our roads safer for everyone’s family and loved ones” through education and advocacy of the installation and use of a state-of-the-art intersection safety technology.

At 3 p.m., a classic car show by the CT Z Car Club will be hosted at the Pier Marketplace. A cocktail reception will be held at 6:30 p.m. at 52 Narragansett Ave., followed by a dinner and silent auction at 7:30 p.m.

At 6 p.m. is the annual Rhode Island National Guard Narragansett Beach Air Show. As of noon, the show was still scheduled to go on, even though there was a chance of thunderstorms later in the day. For more info and to check if the show is still going on, call the at (401) 783-6430.
Early Saturday morning is the annual Bike MS charity ride. for a previous release we published on it. It is also the 25th anniversary celebration at the , with the main performance being .
And finally, all weekend from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., there is . It is taking place at Veterans Park, near the Towers. Check out more than 90 artists exhibiting work in a variety of mediums.
