Theatre By The Sea Box Office Opens For 2019 Season

WAKEFIELD, RI — Spring is here, and South County's Theatre By The Sea is just three weeks away from kicking off its 2019 season. Love and Other Fables kicks off the season on May 29. The theater's box office opened for the season Sunday afternoon, with tickets now available for all of this season's four season.

The new musical "Love and Other Fables" will open for its world premiere on May 29. The new musical comedy follows the story of the Greek slave Aesop on the island of Samos in the year 600 B.C., before becoming famous. The show runs through June 16, with shows every day except Monday.

"Singin' In The Rain" will run from June 19 through July 13, followed by "Newsies" from July 17 through August 10 and Saturday Night Fever closing out the season from August 14 through September 8.

Tickets can be purchased in-person at the box office or online. The box office is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and tickets range from $54 to $77.
