Town of Narragansett Water Division
The Town of Narragansett Water Division will be flushing fire hydrants located on the North End Water System service area supplied by VEOLIA beginning approximately November 27, 2023 through December 1, 2023 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Our customers may experience discolored water and lower than normal water pressure. If you experience dirty water while the flushing process is taking place turn off your water immediately, wait a short time to allow us to finish flushing your neighborhood, then run your cold-water faucet until the water clears. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

This is a semi-annual procedure to remove organic material and sediment that accumulates in the water main and to check the operation of fire hydrants. Any questions may be referred to the Narragansett Water Division at 782-0639.
