Town Of Narragansett: Storm Related Damage

The Town of Narragansett Emergency Management Agency is gathering information related to the recent Storm on December 18, 2023. Public safety personnel, staff and crews who responded to the event have gathered initial damage reports but we are now seeking public input on a state requested Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA) process for this weather event.

If so, please forward address, contact information and a brief description of the damages along with a picture specific to the damages (if taken/available) via email to Narragansett EMA at dboardman@narragansettri.gov no later than close of business on 12/27/23

This information will be compiled and shared with the state. The state is also exploring the possibility of a Small Business Administration disaster declaration which would potentially involve homeowners and businesses.

The primary objective of the PDA process is to help disaster-impacted state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) governments and the Federal Government determine whether the impacts of a disaster warrant a Presidential disaster declaration.
